Whether you're new to grant writing or ready to sharpen your strategy, the TCVPA Grant Workshop Series is here to support you. These sessions are tailored to faculty at all stages of their grant-seeking journey— whether seasoned applicants, returning RCAA candidates, or first-time explorers.

Ready to grow your research, creative work, or community impact? Open to all TCVPA faculty, the series offers tools and guidance to support creative activity, research, and engaged scholarship to help turn your ideas into funded projects.

Takeaways You’ll Use

  • Participants will walk away with practical templates, strategies, and clarity on how to approach various grant opportunities. Resources and topics include:
  • Grant Writing Tools – including database search, budget template, logic model, and other templates
  • Abstract Writing – supports your statement for clarity and impact
  • Measuring Impact – data collection and outcome planning
  • IRB Discussion & Tools – overview of required steps to meet TTU human subject training
  • Letters of Support – how to request, prepare, and use them effectively

Who Should Attend?

  • New applicants, including those preparing to apply to the TCVPA Faculty Research and Creative Activity Awards (RCAA)
  • Faculty who have applied for grants before but are unsure of their next steps
  • Experienced grant applicants seeking refinement or new approaches
