Dr. Madhi Malmali's Research Group

Department of Chemical Engineering

Dr. Malmali's lab personnel experienced a near-miss in their lab space. They had proactively established monitoring in their lab space to detect carbon monoxide leaks, which alerted personnel to evacuate. The group then worked with EHS to determine the root cause and wrote a Lessons Learned about the near-miss to educate fellow researchers.
