Join us as we celebrate the global traditions that make our Texas Tech international community so vibrant! Experience music, dance, art, food, and the 3rd Annual Parade of Nations to kick off the festival.

Admission is FREE and open to the public.

Opportunities to support student organizations will be available through the purchase of select arts & crafts, and food prepared on site.

The International Research Network (IRN) seeks to promote, assist, and encourage participation in developing international research presence and efforts at TTU. The IRN is a platform built to engage a community of scholars interested in international research in all areas of scholarly research within the university. Please join the Center for Global Communication for lunch, and a discussion featuring a talk by Professor Maximilano Fernández from the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid, Spain. Fernanández will deliver a talk titled, "The Importance of Global-Intercultural Communications in the Internationalization of Higher Education Institutions in the Age of A.I. or in the 21st Century."

Maxi is the Vice Dean for Quality and Head of Teaching for the Faculty of Communication Sciences. He focuses on communication, sociology, and journalism, with recent publications on culture, art, heritage, sociology, AI, and more.

This year, our guest speaker will be Dr. Julie E. Taylor, Director of Academic Relations—Fulbright; Institute of International Education.

Dr. Julie Taylor is the Director of Academic Relations for the Fulbright Program at the Institute of International Education. She leads efforts to connect U.S. institutions with Fulbright’s international exchange opportunities, helping campuses expand global engagement and achieve strategic goals.

With over 25 years of experience in academia and international education, Dr. Taylor has held senior leadership roles at American University and George Washington University, and previously served as a policy analyst at the RAND Corporation and assistant professor at Princeton University. She holds a Ph.D. in political science from UCLA and has conducted research in Egypt, Jordan, and Iran.
