Culture Fest 2025 & Parade of Nations Culture Fest 2025 & Parade of Nations Saturday, October 18th, 2025 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM International Cultural Center Celebrate the diverse multicultural heritage of our Texas Tech international community! Festival includes international music & dance, art projects, cultural activities, food, and our 3rd Annual Parade of Nations kick-off event. Admission is FREE and open to the public. Opportunities to support student organizations will be available through the purchase of select arts & crafts, and food prepared on site. International Affairs (IA) invites TTU faculty to a networking opportunity sponsored by the International Research Network (IRN) during our 2025 International Week Festivities, October 18th - 24th. The International Research Network (IRN) seeks to promote, assist, and encourage participation in developing international research presence and efforts at TTU. The IRN is a platform built to engage a community of scholars interested in international research in all areas of scholarly research within the university. Fernanández will deliver a talk titled, "The Importance of Global-Intercultural Communications in the Internationalization of Higher Education Institutions in the Age of A.I. or in the 21st Century." Maxi is the Vice Dean for Quality and Head of Teaching for the Faculty of Communication Sciences. He focuses on communication, sociology, and journalism, with recent publications on culture, art, heritage, sociology, AI, and more.
