Please join the Center for Global Communication for lunch, and a discussion featuring a talk by Professor Maximilano Fernández from the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid, Spain. Fernanández will deliver a talk titled, "The Importance of Global-Intercultural Communications in the Internationalization of Higher Education Institutions in the Age of A.I. or in the 21st Century." Maxi is the Vice Dean for Quality and Head of Teaching for the Faculty of Communication Sciences. He focuses on communication, sociology, and journalism, with recent publications on culture, art, heritage, sociology, AI, and more. Learn more about Fulbright Dr. Julie Taylor is the Director of Academic Relations for the Fulbright Program at the Institute of International Education. She leads efforts to connect U.S. institutions with Fulbrights international exchange opportunities, helping campuses expand global engagement and achieve strategic goals. With over 25 years of experience in academia and international education, Dr. Taylor has held senior leadership roles at American University and George Washington University, and previously served as a policy analyst at the RAND Corporation and assistant professor at Princeton University. She holds a Ph.D. in political science from UCLA and has conducted research in Egypt, Jordan, and Iran. ![]() |
