TECS: Tech Employee Courtesy Shuttle

 

Texas Tech Faculty and Staff can download the TechRide app to request a ride with TECS (Tech Employee Courtesy Shuttle).

TECS offers free rides to Texas Tech University full time employees across Texas Tech Campus, Texas Tech Plaza, and Downtown campuses every weekday during the Fall/Spring semesters when Texas Tech is open from 7:30 AM-5:30 PM.

Transportation & Parking  launched TECS  to provide a way for Texas Tech University full-time employees to have a free way to get around campus while helping decrease vehicle traffic and increase pedestrian safety on campus. 

To request a ride during service hours please follow the steps below:

1)      Download the TechRide app (Available in the App Store & Google Play)

2)      Login with your Texas Tech eRaider username and password. 

3)      Select your pickup/drop off location and request a ride.

*A valid Texas Tech ID is needed. TECS uses white 6-passenger mini vans and one 12 passenger shuttle bus.
