Favorite part of being a Bayless Mentor:  I love getting to see through the eyes of a child once a week. I have loved being a Bayless mentor since I was the youngest child growing up, so it almost feels like I have gained a little sister!

Favorite part of being a Bayless Mentor: Mentoring at Bayless has been one of the most rewarding volunteer experiences I have had. Being a role model for students to look up to, as well as a supportive friend to laugh and play games with, fill very special and impactful roles in their lives. Going to Bayless and seeing my student's excitement when he spots me is one of the best parts of my week and an experience I will never forget.

Career Goals: My future goal is to attend medical school and pursue a career in pediatrics.

Favorite part of being a Bayless Mentor: Throughout the past three years of being a Bayless mentor, I have really enjoyed getting to work with the Bayless students and getting to know the Bayless faculty and staff. My favorite part of being a mentor is working directly with my mentee and forming a friendship with them. Our time spent together may include working on schoolwork, playing a game or just visiting with each other. I am honored to call myself a Bayless mentor and I value the opportunity to take part in such an awesome program!

Career Goals: I look forward to being a physician whose concern is not limited to physical ailments, but seeks to understand and alleviate the social barriers that disproportionately affect communities of color, and those of lower socioeconomic status.

Favorite part of being a Bayless Mentor: Being a friend, a guide, and a resource for my mentee. Through Bayless Mentoring, my hope is to build a solid and secure foundation of trust, understanding, and friendship that encourages each student to realize their unique capabilities.
