Kelsey is a proud Lubbokite who has been working with the Honors College since 2020. She has always had a passion for education, earning a Bachelor of Art in Secondary English Education from McMurry University in 2017, and a Masters in Higher Education Administration from Texas Tech University in 2019. She loves working with students and brainstorming with them to find their passion. Along with her role as a Senior Academic Advisor, she coordinates the Contracting Program, Study Abroad Waiver Program, and the Honors Tutoring Corps. She is also the Staff Advisor for The Masked Bakers, social/service organization provides the underprivileged population of Lubbock access to healthy and delicious handmade desserts as well as information for them to bake these items on their own. Kelsey enjoys writing novels and working in her rose garden at home in her spare time. In July 2021, she married a Texas Tech graduate from the Rawls College of Business, and they have two sweet, but sometimes destructive, dogs.
