Archie serves as the director of the Office of Prestigious External Student Awards (PESA).  He is a first-generation student, born and raised in Hampton, Virginia, on the beautiful Chesapeake Bay.  Archie began his career at Texas Tech University in 2004 as the director of Grants and Outreach for the Jerry S. Rawls College of Business Administration and is a 2011 Fulbright Alum of the U.S. Department of State's International Education Administrators Program.  As director of PESA, Archie remains dedicated to providing guidance and support for all high achieving students at Texas Tech University as they compete for national and international awards across all disciplines. He enjoys traveling to discover new ideas, peoples, and culture and will attend any live musical performance.
