Mottaleb’s specialization is in trade, development, agriculture and food security, and his research program primarily focuses on market, efficiency and profitability of the farming system under risk and uncertainty.
Miller has made it his mission to supply beef to different organizations and schools to show how impactful it is when people have access to it. He used this practice to help kids perform better in the classroom.

The annual outstanding agriculturalist awards recognize individuals for their contributions to various areas of agriculture. This year’s recipients are Trevor Caviness for Agricultural Production, Rex Isom for Public Service, and David Waggoner for Agribusiness.
The distinguished service award is given by the agricultural credit conference to recognize individuals in the banking industry who have made significant contributions to society and whose accomplishments and careers have brought distinctive credit to the financial profession.
