The San Antonio Livestock Exposition, Inc. Viticulture and Enology Scholarship Fund was established by the San Antonio Livestock Exposition, Inc. in 2010. The scholarship is awarded to students who are studying Viticulture and Enology in the Department of Plant and Soil Sciences. Preference is given to Texas residence who graduated from Texas High Schools.

The Benny J. Simpson Endowed Scholarship was established by the Native Plant Society of Texas in 1997 in memory of Benny J. Simpson. The scholarship is awarded to juniors, seniors, or graduate students majoring in the Department of Plant and Soil Science with emphasis in native plant research.

The Harmon Staus Memorial Scholarship Endowment was established by friends and associates of Harmon Staus in 2004. The scholarship is awarded to students majoring in the Department of Plant and Soil Sciences. Harmon was born June 17, 1955, in Pampa. He was a 1973 graduate of Pampa High School, where he was a football standout. He received a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in agronomy from Texas Tech, where he played football.

The Texas Association of Agricultural Consultants Scholarship Term Endowment was established by the Texas Association of Agricultural Consultants in 1985. The scholarship will be awarded to seniors and graduate students focusing on entomology or agronomy.

The scholarship is awarded to undergraduate and graduate students majoring in soil science, crop science or agronomy.

The Charles Weddle Scholarship Endowment was established by Billlie Wolfe. The endowment will provide scholarships to students within the Department of Plant and Soil Science. Preference will be given to horticulture graduate students researching native plants, including buffalo grass, native trees, native orchids, and wildflowers. If no candidates meet this criteria then the scholarship can be awarded to either graduate or under graduate students studying ornamental horticulture.

The scholarship is awarded to students with a minimum of 30 hours and is enrolled in the Department of Plant and Soil Science. Preference will be given to students that have an interest in agricultural chemicals, demonstrate financial need.
