Prosperity Bank Alpha Zeta Scholarship was established by Prosperity Bank of Lubbock in 1960. To be awarded to the student in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources who, at the end of his sophomore year, has the highest academic record. Additional qualities of leadership, character and citizenship shall be considered.

Flora Mayfield and Ross Ayers Memorial Scholarship Endowment was established by the estate of Burton R. Ayers in 2003. Major General Ross Ayers was one of seven children born to G. M. and Linda Ayers. He began his military career in 1931 by enlisting in Service Battery, 131st Field Artillery Battalion, and 36th Infantry Division of the Texas National Guard. Commissioned a 2d Lieutenant, Artillery in 1939. Mobilized with the 36th Division in 1943, served in the Europe Theater. Awards: Silver Star (for landing the first Artillery Piece on the beach head at Salerno, Italy). The Scholarship is awarded to students in the Departments of Plant and Soil Science, Landscape Architecture, or Natural Resources Management. The students must have completed at least 12 semester credit hours. Preferences are given to students who intend to teach. Scholarships are available in the area of biology, environmental sciences and farm ecology. Earnings are to be split equally between the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources.

Tom C. Barnsley Foundation Endowed Scholarship was established by the Tom C. Barnsley Foundation in 1982. Scholarships for entering freshman and majors in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources who demonstrate academic excellence. Students must maintain good academic standing.

The Bayer Scholarship Endowment was established by the Bayer USA Foundation by Mike Gilbert, a representative in Lubbock in 2012. Scholarships available for entering freshman who will be majoring in Agricultural and Applied Economics or Plant and Soil Science.

The Clifton Kyle Beights Memorial Scholarship was established by Terri and Ricky Beights in 2008. Scholarship is awarded with preference to a student majoring in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources. Student must demonstrate leadership and involvement in campus and/or community organizations. Scholarship is to be awarded to a different student each year.

The J. Wayland Bennett Scholarship Endowment was established by family and friends of J. Wayland Bennett in 1990. The scholarship is in honor of his many years of service at Texas Tech University. To provide scholarships to students majoring in Agricultural Economics who qualify for a Silver Dean's Scholar Scholarship.

The W.F. Bennett Ambassadors for Agriculture Scholarship Endowment was established by W.F. Bennett in 1997. Scholarships available to students who qualify and are named Ambassadors. Selection of recipients to be determined by appropriate College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources scholarship committee.
