The Department of Landscape Architecture General Scholarship Fund was established by annual gifts from various private organizations and federal, state, and local agencies in 1993. The scholarship is awarded to juniors, seniors or graduate students who are majoring in Landscape Architecture who demonstrate an excellent graphic, design, and writing skill.

The Malcom R. Hester Memorial Lectureship Endowment was established by Alice Hester in 2003. Malcolm R. Hester, born August 30, 1956, in Amarillo, TX, died May 9, 2002, in San Antonio. Malcolm was a skillful leader and gifted landscape architect. He earned a BLA from Texas Tech University and a Masters of Landscape Architecture from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. Malcolm married Alice Althaus on September 2, 1978. He will be missed by many, many people whose lives he touched. This endowment in his honor is to be used for guest lecturer honorariums, travel expenses, and any other expenses associated with securing and facilitating guest lecturers in the Department of Landscape Architecture.

The Alon and Susan Kvashny Scholarship Endowment was established by Alon and Susan Kvashny in 2010. The scholarship is awarded to students majoring in Landscape Architecture within the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources.

The L. Edward Marvin Endowed Scholarship in Landscape Architecture by George and Fay Young Foundation was established by Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Marvin in 1997. This scholarship is awarded to students who are majoring in the Department of Landscape Architecture in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources.
